This unique venture will host a launch party for its first show JUNE 20, 2009, from 6-9 p.m.
It will be housed in a design-oriented commercial studio space recently transformed by Simonson & Associates Architects at 1717 Ingersoll. The show will close July 24, 2009.
How does it work?
Clients can purchase a piece for the listed price at any time, or can take a chance and submit a bid as part of a silent auction that will run throughout the show. At the show’s closing, items not previously sold will go to the highest qualified silent auction bid. Live auctions are also a planned future component of the gallery. Five percent of each show’s revenues will be donated to a local charity. The first charity is Bravo Greater Des Moines, a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the metro area's arts and cultural community.
